Jessica Snow

Jessica Snow is an abstract artist who lives and works in San Francisco, California. Below is an excerpt from Snow’s website that I believe best describes her work, in a very eloquent way:
“Each of my paintings expresses a new possibility, an opening into a new direction where meaning is continually at play and in flux. The most interesting pieces are those in which something has been left unresolved; its reason for being has not been entirely spelled out for the viewer or even for the artist. In the painting’s openness it becomes a reflection of the self; the meaning of the painting unfolds in its unspoken dialogue with the viewer.”

Hi Jessica,
I enjoy seeing your new paintings. I also like the way you work with different mediums to convery a differnt kind of visual feel with your imagery. And of course, your sensibilty with color is like music to me- it’s like sounds, if they were to be visualized as organic shapes in a spatial environment. Lovely work!
